Fishing Trips

Great fun for all the family! Our Mackerel Fishing Trips run from the last week in May until early September. We supply the rods and tackle along with tuition for beginners. On our boats we use the best quality rigs instead of home made set ups and always run with a varied selection on board including daylights, tinsel and traditional coloured feathers to give you the best chance of catching. You get to keep your catch and if time allows the crew on the boat will prepare your fish on the way in. Mackerel are great on the BBQ for that unforgettable holiday experience! (Fun for all ages, spectators are welcome but have to pay for a place on the trip. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a adult.)

Join us on a 2 hour reef trip as we head out from Ilfracombe to fish for species such as pollock, codling, wrasse, gurnard, mackerel and bass on the many reefs and wrecks along the North Devon coast. Rods and tackle are provided along with tuition or for those experienced anglers among you feel free to bring your own rods and lures. As long as your catch is edible, legal size and species you are welcome to take home with you, otherwise we like to catch and release. (Suitable for all ages, spectators are welcome but must pay for a place on the trip. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a adult).

From March until October we run our 4 hour deep sea trips. The Bristol Channel offers some great sport fishing for species such as conger eels, tope, ray, bull huss, bass and pollock. All rods, bait and tackle are included. We use fresh or frozen Ammo mackerel for bait depending on what is available. All our rods and reels are Brand New for the 2022 season giving you the best chance to catch the fish of a lifetime. Tuition is provided, this trip is suitable for beginners through to experienced anglers. As long as your catch is edible, legal size and species you can keep otherwise it’s catch and release. (We recommend ages 4+, spectators are welcome but must pay for a place on the boat. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a adult.)

From March until October we run our all day deep sea trips from Ilfracombe. The Bristol Channel offers some great sport fishing for species such as Conger eels, Tope, Ray, Smooth-Hound, Bull huss, Bass and Pollock. All rods, bait and tackle are included. We use fresh or frozen Ammo mackerel/squid for bait depending on what is available. This trip is suited more for experienced anglers.
