Where can I find you?

We are located at Kiosk 3 on Ilfracombe harbour our postcode is EX34 9EQ.

Where can I park my car?

There is plenty of parking around the harbour area, it's best to look on Google maps to get a better idea. The long stay car park on the cove side of the harbour is about a 15 minute walk to our kiosk and the boat landings. Please leave plenty of time to park as it can get extremely busy, our boats can't wait for you on the landings if you're running late as it is a working harbour, if you miss your trip you will still be charged.

You only take 12 people per boat but we are a bigger group?

As we run more than one boat we can book parties of up to 48 people, we can also run trips one after another.

Do you offer discounts or promotions?

We sometimes run promotions on our website and social media sites (Facebook & Instagram) follow us @ilfracombeseasafari & @seaswiftcharters to enjoy these benefits. We also partner with selected campsites & hotels around North Devon so be sure to ask at your reception. All promotional codes are valid online only and have an expiry date.

Do I get a refund if my trip is cancelled due to weather etc?

Yes, if we can't sail due to weather or not enough numbers to sail (min.6 passengers) you will get a full refund or we can move your trip to another time/day if you wish.

Do you accept credit/debit cards in your office on the sea front?

Yes we do take card payments on the quay including Apple, Samsung & Google pay, we also accept cash.

What ages are welcome on your Catamaran Cruises & Sea Safaris?

Ages range from 3 months old to 90 year's being our eldest to date, we have life jackets to suit all ages. Please note: Our Swim with Seals trip is Ages 10+.

Do you allow dogs on your Safaris and fishing trips?

Yes, dogs are welcome as long as well behaved. Please note: Dog's are not allowed on our Lundy Shuttle or Swim with Seals trip due to dog's not being allowed at Lundy Island.

Which tour do I book to see the Dolphins?

We can't guarantee wildlife on any of our trips but we tend to see dolphins more on our trips to the west of Ilfracombe (Seals & Lighthouse).

Is there disabled access to the boat’s?

There are steps on all the harbour landing's to board our trip's. We do have crew on hand to help where needed and would recommend calling when wanting to book to make sure the tide is high to limit the amount of steps to each landing.

What age is classified as a child price?

Children's prices are from 12 years old and under. Please note: Fishing trips, Swim with Seals & Lundy Shuttles are price per person.

Do I have to pay for my child if they sit on my lap and don't take up a seat on the boat?

Yes, everybody on the boat needs to be payed as they’re part of the final total (12 people per vessel).

Do you have a toilet on your vessels?

On our Humber Rib's we don't have a toilet but on our catamaran & fishing boat's we do.

Do you allow pregnant women?

We highly recommend calling a few days before to see if the sea state/vessel is suitable as if its to rough you would not be able to sail. Please note: unfortunately on our swim with seals trip pregnant women are not allowed to participate.

What ages/experience are welcome on your Fishing Trips?

All ages and experience are welcome on all our fishing trips. Ages under 16 must be accompanied by a adult. We do recommend with our 4 Hour Deep Sea Trip that younger children have been fishing before or have a interest in fishing as 4 hours can sometimes be to long for them.

What should I bring when on a swim with seals trip?

The Essentials are; DryRobe/towel, packed lunch/cold drinks, GoPro/cameras, warm clothes, wetsuits/snorkel gear. Hot drinks will be served on the trip and we do have a microwave if you reqiure anything heating up for lunch.
