We got our Seaswift 500 at the end of October 2009 and managed our maiden voyage between Christmas and New Year, well worth the wait, we had a great time at Appledore, our boat was admired by many people.
First class boat and first class service, thanks very much Dave, two very happy customers!

I bought a seaswift 500 this year with a 50hp 4 stroke and what a cracking fishing boat it is. there is loads of room its sturdy and more important you feel safe in it unlike my last boat. The 50hp sends it along over 30mph which also makes it a great family fun boat and will hopefully get some knee boards / ski's next summer for the kids. all in all this is a super versatile boat which will give us great pleasure for years to come.
I would just like to thank Dave swift for being very help full and a pleasure to do business with and wish him all the the best for the future.

We have owned a sea swift 435 for just over a year now and have found it to be a very practical craft. As a Sea Scout group we use it primarily as a safety boat normally at a distance from the youngsters on the water, however on a recent Duke of Edinburgh expedition we needed to get much closer than normal safety duties in the past.
An expedition was to take place with 6 youngsters rowing up the Tamar over a weekend, unfortunately shortly after launching and mid river under the Tamar Bridge, water appeared above the deck boards in the rowing gig!!
The youngsters headed for the shore as we shadowed in Sea Swift. On beaching and bailing out the gig we had to tow them across the river to recover the boat, all in all Sea Swift proved itself a very capable craft by virtue of being low enough to easily reach across to the rowing boat ,yet powerfull enough to tow across tide and flow with ease.
When push came to shove' Sea Swift 'cut the mustard'
It turned out the rowing boat had been damaged on the trailer with a 1 inch hole below the waterline- another gig was substituted and the expedition was completed over the weekend.
It is reassuring to know that your rescue craft are capable of performing when required, and Sea Swift performed with ease.

The Magic Roxy, took to the rivers of the Norfolk Broads today and as expected she handled perfectly, we even had bright sunshine. The only disappointment was that the champagne was flat
The Suzuki ran like a dream.
On a more serious note ,I cannot find the words to express our gratitude and also to praise you for the professional manner and attention to detail that you lavished on us.
And also to thank you for your patience with the older generation, I am sure my shipmate and myself will enjoy her, we hope for some years to come. We will certainly be promoting Sea Swift Boats up here.
Once Again David Many Many Thanks

Seaswift 435 - EXCELLENT! My wife wasn't too keen on having a boat but I managed to convince her that the Seaswift was good value and we would have much enjoyment with pleasure days out and fishing trips. She's not been disappointed the only trouble is I can't get my hands on the wheel! She's skipper and I'm the crew!I think I'll get myself a Seaswift 500.
Seriously a great buy which we are both fully enjoying, the price was right and Dave's help and advice superb nothing too much trouble and he delivered to Pembrokeshire. All we are left to do is enjoy the UK's most beautiful coastal national park walk from the sea and catch fish.
Thanks Dave and for your wife's wonderful coffee.

I have recently purchased the Sea Swift 500 for fishing around the south coast. I looked at a few other brands out there and found the Sea Swift 500 to be not only the superior boat but also the best value for money.
The boat feels stable when fishing and has plenty of deck space to move around and with the suzuki 40hp four stroke that I choose to be fitted, it goes very well through the water. The 500 is easy to manoeuvre and with docking arms fitted to the trailer, launching and recovering is also an easy task.
I bought this boat for not only fishing but for family fun as well and have found that even when the weather is not at its best this isn't a problem with the substantial cuddy which provides plenty of protection from the elements.
Dealing with Dave Swift was easy going and trouble free, he made sure the boat was fitted to my spec and on the day of pick up we were not disappointed with the turn out.
Thanks again Dave for all the help in choosing the right boat, we are all very happy with our Sea Swift.
All the best
The Greene family.

Christened my new Sea Swift 500/Honda 20hp 9th September, 2009.
It behaved impeccably. The wind was a 13-15mph North Easterly with gusts up to 24mph. The well sheltered Cleddau river was unusually very lumpy near the mouth of the estuary but she handled everything thrown at her. So much so that I felt no discomfort whatsoever and this experience has given me every confidence to go back out tomorrow because I know I have a safe and stable boat under me. One of the better sides of purchasing this boat was the manner in which Dave Swift treated me, keeping me informed every step of the way and reassuring when I felt doubts about it all. Thanks Dave, you have made an old man happy and you have shown that people can be responsible and trustworthy in business!

I purchased the 500 model with the DF50 motor purely for sea fishing what a boat. She’s fast, stable, comfortable, will easily fish 3 and cruise at 14/16 knots and do about 1 litre to 2 miles. I found Dave a pleasure to do business with and always willing to talk about anything over the phone before I travelled down from the North East of England. I would recommend one of these boats to anyone.

Having recently purchased a Sea Swift 435 from Dave at
Sea Swift, we are more than happy with the boat and service
we received. The boat has a 25HP Suzuki engine which is
a good combination. We cannot praise Dave or the boat
enough, Dave has been very helpful and informative from
the outset to the launch.
Many thanks Dave.

Ok, In the past I have looked at used craft and been bitterly
disappointed and not tempted to part with my cash. I eventually
got to the point where I wasn’t going to do that
anymore. I wanted something that was me - in other words
it had to be new.
Then I saw SeaSwift. Called Dave, and so the story
goes on… Custom built with the additions I wanted.
I met Dave for our maiden voyage. He showed me how
to launch etc. and took the helm to show me the ropes
as it were. Oh and if she looks little on land take
no notice, she feels and performs much bigger on water.
She is a wonderful little craft, very stable and easy
to handle in and out of the water. And Dave is always
on hand to help me out if needed. A genuine nice guy.
When you buy a Sea Swift Boat, you don’t just
get a great little boat - you get a friend thrown in
as well.
Thanks Dave!

Comment: I have always wanted a boat. Just somewhere
that I can go and get away from the stress of life.
No phones, just peace and tranquillity. So when I saw
the advert for the Sea Swift, much to my wife's opposition
to the idea, we went to see Dave. Now just like a wife
who fears being a golfing widow, a husband who wants
to fulfil his boyhood dreams of owning a boat, I was
always going to have a struggle.
I saw the advert in the paper for the Sea Swift and
suggested, tentatively, to my wife Maxine that we should
at least have a look at one, even if it was just a morning
excursion for the kids! So we put Dave's address on
the sat nav (because we are new to the area) and off
we went. My wife was growing more and more irritated.
I gently persuaded her by grabbing her earlobe to at
least have a look at the stock available. She was not
in the mood to buy a toy that she would probably never
use. Dave took us round all the different boats that
he had with all different options.
My wife's normally staunch face seemed to soften slightly,
just the same way as if she had seen a dress in M&S
and gave me the nod to buy the boat, even though she
did not want it. I was happy, even though she was not......
so I had Dave call it MAD MAX.
Since then I have been able to speak to Dave virtually
every day. After sales service is so important to him.
He has offered to tow the boat to Torquay, come out
for a couple of times to make sure that I know what
I am doing, teach me how the ship to shore radio works,
how to maintain the engine etc.
If you are ever going to buy a boat and want someone
to help you in the early days (I don't need you anymore
Dave, sorry) then call Dave, realise your dream and
have fun. I've caught no fish yet, but getting away
from it all is the whole point.
Thanks Dave and we will go out for some serious fishing
in June.

What a fantastic boat the Sea-Swift 435 is! I have been
out in my new boat twice and find that it offers everything
you could wish for. Its ideal for fishing, day trips
and if you want some fun the speed is there!
Excellent value for money! From first seeing the boat
and ordering it Dave was informative and very helpful.
There was good communication and Dave was quick to answer
any query I had. I am looking forward to many hours
at sea around Poole harbour and surrounding coastal
area.

We live in Cornwall and wanted a boat for offshore fishing.
The 435 suited our needs exactly, easy towing, launching
and retrieval. We bought the boat late summer of 2008.
Managed to get out several times in the autumn when
the weather permitted and had some glorious days, on
one occasion feeding the whole village with mackerel.
The boat was stable and easy to handle, a joy. We found
Dave to be most informative and helpful. Now looking
foward to 2009 lets hope for some decent weather.

I’ve been involved in the building of boats for
a few years now and came down to devon with a friend
to test the 435 as he wanted a boat for sport fishing
and family day boat use. As he was a first time buyer
he asked me to come down with him to see what i thought.
We were not dissappointed, the 435 is a superb little
boat offering a stable platform to fish from and a fast
hull due to its gull wing design. It has a good sized
cabin which gives great protection from the elements
which is ideal for fishing.it was very easy to get on
and off the trailer and the boat itself handled nicely.
Overall it did all we wanted it to do very well and
I gave it the thumbs up.

Cracking piece of kit!!
Have found the Sea Swift 435 to be an excellent all
round vessel being easy to launch & recover, uncomplicated
in its set up and useage, yet still have the feeling
it can easily cope with more severe weather and sea
conditions than thus far experienced with it.
In the Sea Swift we have discovered unsurpassed value
for money and you can rest assured that Dave Swift is
an uncomplicated, genuine guy to deal with.
Looking forward to many enjoyable hours in the coming
boating season with the boat- shame the winters are
so long.

Gemini FM Radio recently ran a competition for a youth
group to win a new, fully equipped Sea Swift 435 complete
with 25hp Mercury engine and road trailer, worth over
£7,000, which was being donated by Dave Swift to
further youth boating in the community. Our Sea Scout
group, 6th Torbay Britannia were the fortunate winners,
we operate from our HQ on Paignton Harbourside and have
more than 160 members between 6 and 18 years of age most
of whom attended the official handover on 8th November.
(See photo gallery)
We have already used the Sea Swift on several weekends
and have found the boat easy to launch and recover, vital
if being assisted by young people, and it is stable and
handles well on both flat and in more challenging conditions.
We are all very grateful to Dave for his extreme generosity,
and many youngsters will benefit from his kindness in
the years to come. |

I would just like to say how impressed I have been with
the SeaSwift 435 - I have found it to be a good all round
multi purpose vessel - Easy to launch by myself - very
stable and reliable - I have not hesitated taking my family
out in it (it would have been more often had it of not
been for the weather this summer ((What Summer)) I also
feel that Dave is an absolute asset always there to offer
any support or knowledge required (and lets face I have
probably been one of those nightmare customers due to
my lack of knowledge) however I can thoroughly reccomend
